Job Title: Product Development Officer Job Class: Supervisory Kooler Industries Inc. is urgently looking for a dynamic and innovative Product Development Officer to join our ever-growing team! Job Purpose: The Product Development Officer will be responsible for overseeing, controlling, and monitoring activities related to the development and production of new products, as well as improvement of existing products, parts, systems, and designs for a reasonable cost. Duties and Responsibilities: • Manages the overall quality and compliance activities during the research ideation and product development, life cycle processes, and to ensure related practices adhere to market requirements. • Documents and maintains the transfer of projects for production and facilitates the compliance and timely closure of all project work requiring approval. • Performs document review and approval, such as method validations, manufacturing records, and process and analytical variances. • Conducts research studies and tests new products, parts, and production system improvements. • Reviews and approves root cause analysis, i.e. investigations, unexplained discrepancies, failures, and out of specification results. • Experiments on research findings by producing prototypes of products, parts, and systems indicating costs, benefits, and possible disadvantages. • Conducts regular product performance, design, and cost evaluation vis-à-vis competitive products. • Conducts market tests of prototypes for reasonable period of time, the experience and/or findings generated to be considered for the final product, parts, systems, and design. • Formulates and conducts training programs to improve the technical skills of the respective departments working in close with the team. • Formulates, reviews, and improves the preventive maintenance program for all machines. • Manages and leads product compliance and safety standards. • Provides the team with useful, relevant, and practical experiences encountered in the field which will help in improving products, work systems, or procedures. • Other tasks that may be assigned as required by the business needs of the company. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 1. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. 2. An Engineering license is a plus, but not required. 3. With relevant trainings in Product Design, HVAC/R systems, Electronics Development, or Project Management is preferred. 4. Experience in refrigeration systems, drinking fountain, cooling equipment, or OEM electronic manufacturing. 5. Proven experience in bringing products from concept to production launch. 6. Strong knowledge in terms of Product Design & Development, Refrigeration/Cooling Systems, Electronics & OEM Integration, and Engineering Tools (CAD, prototype development tools, and product life cycle management systems). 7. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in product design/development, R&D, or engineering design within a manufacturing environment. 8. Job Title: Production Technician Job Class: Rank and File Kooler Industries Inc. is urgently looking for Production Technicians to join our ever growing team! Job Purpose: The Production Technician will be responsible in fabricating parts, cleaning, assembling various Company products. Duties and Responsibilities: • Repairs or replaces parts and sub-assemblies in the watercooler unit. • Acts as a tool keeper/materials expediter upon appointment by the immediate superior. • Dismantles and cleans all knocked-down parts of the watercoolers such as cabinets, structure, brine tank cover, etc. • Cuts, bends, drills, and solders materials needed for parts preparation. • Corrects the defects of machine, tools and equipment used during the production process. • Performs preventive actions to uncover conditions that may lead to production breakdown or harmful depreciation of machines, tools and equipment. • Paints, laminates, cleans, buff, and attaches watercooler parts into sub assemblies and completed units. • Practices daily good housekeeping procedures on tools, equipment, and work area. • Communicates to immediate superior any problem encountered in the execution of duty and suggest possible solution. • Observes Company policies, safety rules, proper work ethics at all times. • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 1. With Technical/Vocational Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technology, Electrical Technology, Electromechanics (Mechatronics is an advantage), or Industrial Technology. 2. Having a TESDA certification is preferred, but not required. 3. Familiar with the use of hand tool and power tools, basic troubleshooting, and leak testing and system checks. 4. With basic understanding of refrigeration system components, electrical wiring and connections, and mechanical assembly. 5. Has the ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions. 6. At least a minimum of 1 year of experience in production or assembly, and must be willing to undergo trainings. 7.
